Nebo
Nebo Crossing was founded as Eastside Baptist Church in 1978 under the leadership of Pastor Bill Long. His faithful shepherding gained the respect of McDowell County, and established a strong church within the community. In January of 2010, Eastside Baptist called Bob Ritter to assume the responsibility of Lead Pastor.
Building upon its legacy of faithfulness, Nebo Crossing adopted its new name in 2012. While still affirming its foundational doctrines, Nebo Crossing sought to return to a highly Biblical model of church while creating a loving and engaging environment to facilitate life change.
Today, Nebo Crossing has experienced unprecedented growth within its congregation – both spiritually and numerically. We believe God wants to do great things with our church, and we simply invite you along for the journey.
Nebo Crossing is pastor led, elder directed, and church approved. We operate under a Baptistic model of ministry. Nebo Crossing exists to reach our community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, one individual and one family at a time.
