Salvation

Meet

Jesus

We’re so glad you’re here. The Bible tells us that God loves us and has made a way for us to be forgiven, made new, and brought into a relationship with Him through Jesus Christ.

We Have All Sinned

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” — Romans 3:23 (ESV)

Sin separates us from God, and there is nothing we can do on our own to make ourselves right with Him.

God Loves Us and Sent Jesus for Us

“But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8 (ESV)

Jesus lived the perfect life we could not live, died on the cross in our place, and rose from the dead. He took the punishment our sin deserved so that we could be forgiven and reconciled to God.

Salvation Is a Gift from God

“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” — Romans 6:23 (ESV)

We cannot earn salvation by being good enough, going to church, or doing good things. Salvation is a gift of God’s grace that we receive through faith in Jesus Christ.

We Respond by Turning to Jesus and Trusting Him

“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” — Romans 10:9 (ESV)

Following Jesus means turning from our sin, placing our faith in Him alone for salvation, and surrendering our lives to Him as Lord.

If You’re Ready to Place Your Faith in Jesus

You can pray something like this:

Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I need You. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and that You rose from the dead. I turn from my sin and place my faith in You. Forgive me, save me, and make me new. I surrender my life to You and choose to follow You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for loving me and giving me new life. Amen.

The words of a prayer do not save us—Jesus does. Salvation comes when we genuinely repent and place our faith in Him.
